Caramel Espresso Martini
Caramel Espresso Martini is a coffee, sweet and creamy cocktail made with Vodka and Liqueur, with moderate flavor complexity.
Ingredients
- 50 ml caramel vodka (recommended: Elvéra Vodka com Caramelo)
- 30 ml espresso (freshly pulled; no machine? use the strongest brewed coffee you can make)
- 25 ml coffee liqueur
- 1 pinch salt
- Ice
- 3 coffee beans
Method
- Fill a martini glass or coupe with ice and swirl gently to chill it evenly. Set aside.
- In the shaker, add the fresh espresso (still hot), coffee liqueur, vodka, and the pinch of salt.
- For pro-level foam, dry shake (shake without ice) before adding ice.
- Fill the shaker with plenty of ice and shake hard for 10 to 15 seconds.
- Dump the ice and water from the glass. Pour half the drink, pause, give the shaker a side-to-side swirl to settle the bubbles, and finish pouring — the pause sets the foam and separates the dark body from the golden crown.
- Finish with three coffee beans on the foam.
