Filho do Geraldo
Filho do Geraldo is a sour, citrus and bitter cocktail made with Cachaça, with high flavor complexity.
Ingredients
- 50 ml cachaça
- 25 ml lime juice
- 20 ml simple syrup (2:1 rich)
- 3 dashes aromatic bitters
- Ice
- Lime peel
Method
- Shake the cachaça, lime juice, and syrup with ice in a shaker.
- Double strain into a rocks glass with ice.
- Add the bitters on top and stir lightly — the idea is for the bitters to stay only partly mixed in ("half-mixed").
- Express the lime peel over the surface and drop it into the drink.
